Excalibur Crossbow Stringer

How to Use the Excalibur Stringer
  1. Attach the Loops: Slip the large loops of the stringing tool securely over both limb tips. Make sure they sit just behind the actual bowstring loops.
  2. Cock the Stringer: Hook your regular rope cocking aid or integrated crank mechanism onto the stringer cable instead of the actual bowstring. Pull or crank it back until it locks securely into the trigger box mechanism.
  3. Swap the String: With the limbs drawn back by the stringer, the main bowstring will go completely slack. You can now easily unloop the old string, twist it to adjust your brace height, or loop a brand-new string onto the designated limb tip grooves.
  4. De-cock Safely: Take off the safety, firmly hold your cocking rope or crank handle, depress the anti-dry fire latch, and pull the trigger. Slowly and carefully lower the limbs back down to relax the tension, then remove the stringer.
